Congress wants to Ban Online Poker!

August 31st, 2009 | Category: poker online

They are discussing one of many controversial bills designed to “control” the internet that has passed favorably out of a congressional subcommittee and may come up for a vote next week. This particular bill would attempt to ban certain types of online gaming — including online poker while at the same time making online bets placed on horse races legal. It is unclear if this is even possible or what the bill would ultimately mean for the internet.
